Room air is drawn into the inlet grille.The air in the plenum beneath the work surface is a mix of unfiltered room air and air that has just passed through the work area.This contaminated air is drawn by the ECM blower through the back plenum of the BSC, where approximately 70% is recirculated back over the work area through the supply HEPA filter, providing an ISO Class 5 work environment.Remaining contaminated air is discharged into the environment through the high-efficiency exhaust HEPA filter.
