The Vacuum Desiccator is a molded polyethylene cabinet having one cubic foot of interior space that provides a low humidity environment for the storage of anhydrous, hygroscopic biological and chemical compounds.Features a leak-resistant chemical-resistant gasket for an excellent seal.A 3-way vacuum release valve enables slow release and backfilling with a dry inert gas.The safety glass door provides an unobstructed view that won't diminish over time like acrylic.Includes powder-coated steel wire frame stand, two removable aluminum shelves with 12 (22 mm) holes to support crucibles, and stainless steel pan for granular desiccant.Desiccant not included.Nine molded-in shelf supports on 1" centers allow for flexible shelf arrangement.Desiccator is tested to a full vacuum of 29" of mercury.
